The APAC Summer Internship Programme is a comprehensive 10 week programme (between May to July 2019) designed to equip penultimate year students with the financial and individual competencies to potentially embark on a successful career within the BNP Paribas Group. This opportunity includes a firm wide orientation, lunch-and-learn series, networking events and on- the- job learning from our senior managers and highly experienced team members.
Direct Responsibilities
The Summer Intern’s primary project would be to update the Singapore ALMT Front Officers Procedure document, basically an operations manual. Doing so would require the intern to understand ALM Treasury mandates around liquidity and interest rate risk, the internal and external rules and regulations governing its activities and the daily tasks carried out by ALMT dealers to fulfil ALM Treasury mandates.
As a consequence of this project, the summer intern will have a very good understanding of the role of ALM Treasury within the bank as well as its daily operations.
Contributing Responsibilities
The summer intern will also be required to carry out another project / study of his/her own choice within the ALM Treasury domain so as to further his/her understanding.
