The APAC Summer Internship Programme is a comprehensive 10 week programme (between June to August 2019) designed to equip penultimate year students with the financial and individual competencies to potentially embark on a successful career within the BNP Paribas Group. This opportunity includes a firm wide orientation, lunch-and-learn series, networking events and on- the- job learning from our senior managers and highly experienced team members.
Key Responsibilities
A Corporate Banking Analyst’s responsibility is to assist the Relationship Managers in managing their corporates’ portfolio. Such responsibility would also include completion of required documentation as part of the onboarding process, e.g., facility letters/agreements, standard terms and conditions, board resolution, and any other required documents.
Internally, the CB Analyst tracks utilization of facilities and YTD revenue to monitor each relationship, and also takes part in the annual budget exercise in addition to the Corporate Banking team. The CB Analyst works closely with the CTCM Analysts and CLM to achieve marketing objectives.
Marketing related
- To assist Relationship Managers (RMs) in day-to-day relationship management for the assigned accounts and/or certain transactions
- To assist RMs in prospecting exercise including gathering information on companies and relevant industry sectors and contacting other sites as required
- To gather and summarize useful marketing related information as required
- To prepare monthly revenue reports based on Country Territory Dashboard
- To assist RMs and Business Lines in RAROC calculation
- To attend client meetings with RMs and to assist in call report as assigned
- To be professional and polite to ensure client satisfaction
Internal Administration
- To assist RMs in KYC process as assigned
- To assist RMs in daily account monitoring report
- To keep track of the list of clients and prospects including tracking how many new accounts have been opened and exited during the period
- To assist RMs on account allocation database
- To assist RMs for Client1st reporting (deal pipeline, opportunities, call memo, etc.)
- To track RM’s client visits per week
- To prepare client briefing memo for internal use as assigned by RM
- To assist RMs in the annual budgeting exercise as assigned
- To assist Country Head on specific tasks as assigned
Permanent Control
- Direct contribution to BNP Paribas operational permanent control framework
- Ensure that all work done complies with the operational permanent control, legal and regulatory framework and requirement
- Follow strictly our internal compliance guidelines and procedures
Others
Assist Head of Corporate Banking and RMs on ad hoc basis as required
