The Graduate Programme is a comprehensive 24-month programme designed to equip graduates with the technical skills and individual competencies to embark upon a successful career within the BNP Paribas Group. This opportunity includes a formal mentoring programme, graduate community initiatives, relevant technical training and on- the- job learning from our senior managers and highly experienced team members.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will join a trading desk as an assistant and will progressively evolve as a full time trader.
Direct Responsibilities
- Support senior traders in equity derivative products with clients
- Improve his knowledge of equity derivative products in order to become autonomous
- Prepare a P&L explanation each day and escalating any unexplained elements to his desk head for sign off
- Comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines
Contributing Responsibilities
- Develop BNP Paribas Clients’ franchise (Acting as a 'support' function to our sales force)
- Participate to implementation of new trading tools and automation of processes
- Generate trading ideas, back testing them and eventually implement them under the supervision of the Head of Desk
- Accurate marking of market parameters
